“Work Hard, Be Kind”
R.F. Staples Secondary School offers grades 7- 12 to students from Westlock and the surrounding region. Our students can choose from a variety of academic and non-academic courses, including a broad selection from our closely linked Alberta Distance Learning Center (ADLC). The school building was first constructed in 1947 and has since changed dramatically with multiple additions and refurbishments. The school’s name was originally Westlock Senior High School, but was renamed in 1983 in memory of Richard F. Staples, our first principal (1947 – 1972).
