►*It’s Pride Week at RF Staples! Our GSA has planned lots of fun activities all week. Today at lunch, join us for a Pride Parade around the school!

The GSA is planning to attend Sturgeon County’s Pride Event on Tuesday, June 14^th from 5-8 p.m. in Cardiff Park. Outloud St. Albert will be there with an information booth. There will be a short keynote presentation from Luc Tellier, who is a Community Advocate, around 6:00 p.m., maybe some greetings from Mayor & Council.  It sounds like there will be some fun activities including a tie-dye t-shirt station, painting chairs for Sturgeon County, a family friendly BBQ, music fun, etc.Sign up and permission forms available at the office or Mrs. Mills in Student Services.

Just a friendly reminder that Local Scholarship Applications are due Friday in Student Services.

►*Weather pending, the GSA is planning to paint the rainbow sidewalk on Monday June 13th after school! Join us for the fun! We have 11 colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, black, brown, pink, light blue, white) and hope we can fit each of them on the sidewalk 2 times consecutively. Mr. St. Denis has graciously offered to power wash the sidewalk for us that afternoon in preparation! 🙂
