If you would like to vote for your favourite YRCA book contest held by the public library, Mrs. Nakonechny has the ballots in the RF Staples Library!  Come vote for the book you enjoyed the most!

 

►*Congratulations to the RF Staples Archery team for their successful completion of the 2019 Falcon Open in Slave Lake this past weekend.

Of note,

Individual Overall High Score, out of 89 Archers, 2nd place to our very own Destinee Miller, 4th place to Kaylie Bandura, and 6th place to Levi Peet.

All High School Boys Category – 1st place to Levi Peet and 3rd place to Brendan Verbeek

All High School Girls Category – 1st place to Destinee Miller and 3rd place to Kaylie Bandura

All Middle Division Girls Category – Heleena Neuman – 2nd Place

Very well done by all archers.  The RF Staples flag was well represented by everyone who participated!

 

►*Congratulations to the everyone who helped with the First Annual RF Staples Leadership Conference. It was an excellent day full of learning.

 

National Poutine Day is next Thursday, April 11.  Students will have the opportunity to build their own poutine for $5.  Presales will take place on Monday and Tuesday in the cafeteria.  All proceeds will go to the Jason Gregor Foundation.

 

Do you want portraits to hang on your wall and to show your friends?  Perhaps you want to have pictures with your best friend or pet.  You can get these pictures professionally taken in the Media Arts lab!  If you are interested and for more information, please see Tyren Peever in the Media Arts Lab any time before lunch.

 

There is a Spring Formal on April 11 from 7 until 9. The dress code is formal. Tickets will be sold for 5 dollars in the street during lunch hours. This dance is only for grade eights and nines, and if you have any questions or concerns, please talk to Mr. Wiks.

 

2017-2018 Yearbooks are in. Please come to the office to sign for them.
