►Congratulations to the JH Badminton team. At divisionals on Friday, our team came away with several medals:

In Grade 7 Evan and Kolton won silver, Nate and Kris won bronze in boys’ doubles.

In Grade 8, Isaac won gold,

Mark won bronze in boys’ singles.

In girls’ singles, Mackenzie won gold, and Mya won bronze.

Mark and Owen won silver in boys’ doubles.

In girls’ doubles, Mackenzie and Mya won gold

In Grade 8 mixed doubles, Mark and Mya won silver, and Isaac and Mackenzie won bronze. Congrats to all who competed in the tournament. RF Staples finished 2nd place in overall points.

Thanks to those students who manned the score table during the tournament: Katie Midgett, Gabby Babiuk, Jorja Johnston, Jordan Darby, Morgan Genert, Abby Schmidt, and Jolie Snow.

►*We are moving into the next phase of the Rotary Room Mural. We are calling on all students that would like to contribute their own personal touch to the mural to see Mr. St. Denis immediately after this presentation for more information or to sign up. Students will be given time during the school-day to paint their portion of the mural. We would like to have a nice balance of students from 7-12 contribute to this project.
