There will be a grad meeting on Thursday, Jan. 18 in the theatre during flex to decide on theme and discuss other details.
Grad photos can be booked online at schoolappointments. Look for the link on our webpage. Grad portrait sittings are free and MUST be taken to be included in the Grad Composite wall photo and in the yearbook.
Grade 12 students with PARKING PASSES that are NOT enrolled in classes at R.F for Second Semester will need to return their parking passes to the office by January 30th.
►Any student interested in completing CALM in Jasper this summer are asked to see Mr. St. Denis in Student Services. The 1-week program consists of hiking, canoeing, rock climbing, swimming etc.
►Any student enrolled in Independent for semester 2, please see Mrs. Heffel this week.
►The bus to the Citadel leaves today at 4:45 pm.
We are still looking for volunteers for the SR basketball tournament this weekend and again for the JV tournament Feb 2-3. This is the first SR basketball tournament hosted at RF for at least 5 years but so far we do not have enough volunteers to run it. The decision to cancel or not will have to be made in the next couple of days. Canceling tournaments because of lack of school spirit is not ideal, and so if you’re able to help please see Ms. McKenzie. For every 2 games, volunteers will be given a $5 subway card. Second semester Phys Ed 20/30 will also be given leadership hours towards their course.
During Flex on Wednesday there will be a Jujitsu demonstration in the small gym. Please wear your gym clothes if you decide to participate. Sign up through Power School.
RF Staples Archery team practices will be every Wednesday from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm in the small gym, starting this Wednesday. If you have any questions please see Mr. Edwards in Room 35.
ATTENTION ALL WORK EXPERIENCE STUDENTS! Your entire Work Experience duotang is due on Wednesday, January 17th. to Mr. Buchko. Please ensure that ALL of your evaluations (both employer and self evaluations) are done, your reflections, and hours are completed as well.
